The DSI group is mainly used for processing heat-sensitive low-acid products and/or products with high fouling tendency. Bu ürünlere örnek olarak şunlar verilebilir:

- Baby food,
- Sauces and puddings,
- Dairy products and plant-based formulated products. (ice cream mix, milkshakes, desserts and vegetable cream)
During the process, it takes advantage of a UHT process that provides a very fast heating and cooling rate in the most critical temperature range for product quality. This rapid heating and cooling minimizes product browning, cooked taste and protein denaturation.
